In 2025, Ruhamaa lit a new path with Chiragh-e-Rah (Mentorship Program). Designed to guide orphaned children beyond academics, it instills positive thinking, personal growth, and leadership skills — shaping them into confident individuals ready to face life’s challenges.

Ruhamaa Foundation initiated mental health sessions for widows, recognizing the immense challenges they shoulder as the core strength of their families. These sessions highlight the importance of mental well-being, raise awareness, and equip widows with practical tools to manage stress. By creating space for healing and emotional balance, Ruhamaa empowers them to prioritize their own well-being while continuing to care for their children.

Building on the journey, Ruhamaa launched Ruhamaa Hunarmand — an initiative to empower widows and elder siblings with skills and training. With donor support, this program opened doors for small businesses and income opportunities, helping beneficiaries stand on their own feet.

Ruhamaa Foundation partnered with Charity Right to provide ration to 100% of registered families. Earlier, distribution was provided quarterly, but this step ensured food security and restored dignity for widows.

As the trust deepened, Ruhamaa expanded further to Bilal Colony, ensuring that even more children and families could find strength, dignity, and opportunity through its programs.

With the trust of our donors, Ruhamaa extended its reach to Bhittiabad, striving to bring hope and support to even more widows and orphans in need.

Soon after, the mission reached Jumma Goth, bringing education, ration, and care to more families.

The story of Ruhamaa’s work began in the community of Shireen Jinnah, where the vision first turned into action.

In 2018, five friends from different walks of life came together, united by a shared dream — to stand beside widows and orphans. With their diverse backgrounds but one vision, they laid the foundation of Ruhamaa Foundation, built on compassion, hope, and dignity.
